The Know Thyself program helps middle school students know themselves and find balance inside and outside of school.

The You Know program helps high school students maintain good habits that remain for life, while choosing the field and college that best fit their goals, or building the path toward entrepreneurship.

How EMA works

A personalized journey.
Not a program.

Every student is different. EMA is built around that reality, starting as early as 6th grade, building the right foundation so that by high school, your child is ready to choose the college that meets their expectations, build the career that aligns with their goals, or launch the entrepreneurial path they were born for.

Initial interview
EMA leadership meets with you and your child to understand their needs, goals, and where they are right now.

Personalized plan
We select 3 to 4 pillars specifically for your child, the ones most relevant to their stage of development.

Individual online micro learning
Your child works through their assigned capsules independently each week, at their own pace, from any device.

1:1 Live Mentor Weekly Session
Each week the coach reviews the work before a live 60-minute one-on-one session. Students receive four sessions per month.

End of semester interview
EMA leadership meets with the student and coach to review progress and adjust or add pillars for the next semester.

All sessions are 60-minute one on one video conferences through EMA-approved platforms only. Every mentor passes a full background check before working with students.

About the Founder

Built from passion.
Driven by purpose.

Tania López De Pelsmaeker has spent her life believing one thing: when young people understand who they are, they make better decisions about everything else. With more than 25 years in education and a graduate degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, she saw a gap that no school, tutor, or counselor was filling.
Students were being taught about the world, but nobody was teaching them about themselves. Eagle Modern Academy was founded in 2020 to change that.
